“Dame Dash Discloses Earnings of Just Over $5K in 2022 During Child Support Battle”

Dame Dash is now asserting financial hardship as he seeks to renegotiate child support payments for his daughter with ex-wife Rachel Roy. According to documents obtained by TMZ on January 9, the co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records is requesting a reduction in his monthly payments from $3,000 to $428, citing struggles in his business ventures and claiming to have earned only $5,140 in 2022 due to the lingering impact of the pandemic on his income.

In response, Rachel Roy disputes Dash’s financial claims, contending that his ownership in Roc-A-Fella alone should provide substantial income. She also alleges that he has additional undisclosed sources of revenue. The case is pending a judge’s ruling.

In an interview on The CEO Show in October, Dash elaborated on his business challenges and the impact on child support payments. He explained that his current financial situation is vastly different from when the child support amount was initially determined, highlighting the need to reassess payments based on his current circumstances.

Dash further explained that his child support obligation was initially tied to his ownership stake in Rachel’s fashion line, which he claims she now controls. He emphasized the difficulty of starting a new company without sufficient working capital and defended his financial position, stating that he is investing in ventures that have not yet turned a profit.

The public became aware of Dash’s child support issues in 2019 when he was arrested for reportedly owing significant amounts in support to two different women, including Rachel Roy.
