Last night was the 40th annual American Music Awards and Los Angeles was flocking with your fav celebrities in their best designer gear. It was a night filled glamour, awkward stage performances and other very interesting moments- nothing new to the American Music Awards. Check out some of your favorite (and least favorite) celebrities rock out the red carpet and the the AMA stage:
Nicki Minaj went with a bright BRIGHT neon gown. Different to her usual corky getups but still in the same BOLD ballpark.
Mr.Young Swaggy in Black and Red like his mentor Usher.
These two must be serious. A slim and trim Jordin Sparks and, boo, Jason Derulo
Swizz graced the red carpet with iced out grills, a fitted navy suit with sneakers. Classic.
Kerry Washington went with her delicate side and styled in a yellow long sheer and lace dress with complimenting coral pumps. It’s different but it works for the beautiful and talented “Scandal” starlet.
Will. I . Am in his usual funky style.
Sean Kingston posed in his all black finessed with his island colors, decked out in his Ben Baller jewels.
This Gangum Style singer, PSY, is seriously the new craze on music billboards. He’s been number one on iTunes worldwide for weeks.
He even performed with MC Hammer! Here’s a posed moment with MC Hammer at the afterparty.
Chris Brown took a detour from his Carpe Diem tour to perform at the awards. Chris is slowly making his way back on the red carpet scene, but you can tell he was uncomfortable with all his worst critics under one roof.
Brandy went for a structural complicated black and simmery gold dress. Not the best look for her but she still looked beautiful & happy.
NoDoubt is back and here to stay!
Luda looked like a little kid posing for school pictures. He’s outfit wasn’t anything too special but then again Luda’s probably over the hyped up awards red carpet anyways.
Kelly Rowland looked gorgeous and glowing in this champagne beaded mini dress and matching sandals. That’s one beauty!
50 Cent came tailored as if he didn’t get Gunplay jumped at the last music awards. He’s a chameleon must admit. He looked sharp.
Pink rocked out in this pewter detailed gown with her platinum blonde hair.
Tyga switched up to daddy mode and slipped into a spicy hot orange-red tailored suit with studded leopard loafers and Amber Rose’s new hair do…
A full figured Christina Augerlia decided to step into a time warp with a lavender, purple, white hued gown with a suggestive split. She rocked a bob that just did nothing for singer.
